Vehicle Description
This beautiful 1940 Packard Super Eight 160 Sedan is for sale in
our Detroit showroom. In 1939 Packard decided to build on a shorter
wheelbase than Packard before it. This gives the 1940 Packard a
great stance and stands out as a very iconic vehicle. The 1940 160
featured a new engine which is the L-head straight eight 356 CID
which made 160 hp @ 3300 rpm and used aluminum pistons, cast iron
head, Stromberg Carburetor, and Autolite ignition. This Packard is
in good condition and is a fantastic driver with great potential to
be a mint vehicle. The Black paint on the vehicle seems to be done
in the last 10 years and shows very well on this big fender
Packard. The outside of the vehicle is matched very well to the
interior of the car in red cloth and is also in good original
condition. This Packard is powered by an inline 8-cylinder motor
and followed by a smooth shifting 3 on the tree manual transmission
that is ready to hit the open road. This 1940 Packard 160 is a
great 40's classic that is ready for years of enjoyment. To view
