For sale in Gateway Classic Cars' Chicago showroom is a 1977
Pontiac Grand Prix LJ. In 1962 Pontiac introduced the Grand Prix
line of cars. Fifteen years later would see the last year of the
third generation in 1977. For that year these cars came in three
levels of trim: J, LJ, and SJ. The model on offer is the premium LJ
model, Based on the original MSRP window sticker that came with the
car originally, This LJ came from the factory with a 400ci V8
mounted to an automatic 400 transmission. These highway cruisers
were rated at 180HP from factory giving these cars a combination of
grunt and comfort. Reflecting the bold choices of the 70s is the
Red on Red color combination this car boasts proudly. The strong
lines of the body are accented by elegant pinstriping highlighting
the attention to detail that went into these luxury land yachts.
Inside the cabin you'll find plush red seats with tons of optional
