1963 Ford Galaxie
Complete Restoration of a Solid Car
427 Center Oiler V8
2 4bbl Carburetors
4sp Manual Transmission
Prior to a complete frame-on restoration, this car was a very nice
survivor . No body panels were replaced in the restoration of
the Galaxie which was completed to a very high standard. The
car maintains the original glass and the front and rear bumpers
were re-chromed. In addition to the bumpers, all external
trim including the grill shows very well. The undercarriage
is nicely detailed and the floor board and trunk floor are very
solid. The Crager SS wheels give this car an excellent
stance.
The interior maintains the original door panels and headliner owing
to their excellent condition. The seats coverings are new as
is the carpet. The dash pad is new and all chrome accents
shine bright. The whole interior presents extremely
well.
Under the hood the engine has been upgraded to a rebuilt 427 V-8
Center Oiler. Solid lifters, two 4bbl carbs and dual exhaust
power this car very well. The 4sp transmission offers smooth
driving performance.
