Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is very excited to offer
this amazing resto mod 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. The frame off
restoration on this beauty is fantastic. All panels fit together
nice and even, all doors open and close nice and smooth, and the
hood opens and closes nice and easy. It doesn't matter what angle
you look from; this Bel Air is one of the nicest we've ever had,
and it will win trophy after trophy. If you think the pictures look
great, I can assure you it looks even better in person. The amazing
red and black exterior paint finish speaks for itself and is the
perfect match up to the custom interior sporting the black vinyl
and leather seats with red trim. Powering this beauty is a 383
Stroker pushing out 495 hp. It has Headman headers and an MSD
blaster SS, and It's backed by a manual 4 speed Muncie
transmission. You can cruise in this Bel Air and show it off, or
you can throw the Hurst shifter in gear and take the 495 horses to
the max. Either way you are going to be the envy of the crowd.
Basically, everything was redone on this Bel Air underneath, under
the hood, inside, and out. The rear air shocks are fresh, and it
has a 411 Posi lock rear end. Power front disk brakes and power
steering were added in 2016 as well as a new Sony stereo and
speakers, and LED tail lights. Decoding the ID numbers will tell
you the original colors were Harbor Blue, and Nassau Blue, but none
of that is relevant when you see the beautiful restoration done
here. In 2012 the engine was rebuilt and brought to the impressive
finish you see now, by Farmer Automotive in Webster, NY. Since then
the engine has barely been broken in with only 9,500 miles added
since. The finished product under the hood is as follows: Chevrolet
