Vehicle Description
PENDING SALE THANKS SUSAN AND GARY Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as
we celebrate our 19th year in the classic and muscle car business.
Chevrolet's name for the Z/28 Camaro started out as only a Regular
Production Order (RPO) option code but has since grown into one of
the most recognizable names in the Camaro's history. Introduced in
1967 as a homologation ringer for the SCCA's Trans-Am sedan series,
word quickly spread about how good these cars were, even for the
street. Then the floodgates opened when the juggernaut of the
Penske/Donohue Camaros won the Trans-Am championships in 1968 and
1969. Today, Camaro Z/28's are among the most sought after and
collected muscle cars, particularly the race-bred first generation
(1967-1969) cars. This 1969 Z/28 (TT X77) sports a couple of things
you don't see every day; a numbers matching engine backed-up with
the correct original Protect-O-Plate! Yes, the engine code
(V02I8DZ) matches the Protect-O-Plate and the VIN derivative
(19N603612) is located on the oil filter boss (BCN 3956618). The
car retains its correct Hugger Orange (72 72) paint, while the trim
has been upgraded from Standard Black (711) to the Custom interior
with Black Houndstooth. The upholstery is in excellent condition
and the headliner is nice and tight. Additional features include
power steering, power front disc brakes, Muncie close ratio 4-speed
manual transmission, full console with gauges, sport-styled
steering wheel (N34) with wood-grained plastic rim, cowl induction
hood (ZL2), and a modern stereo. This historically important
automobile sounds and drives the way that it should, offering a
driving experience that's unavailable in a modern car and an
appreciation curve instead of a depreciation cliff! Street Dreams
is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide
delivery, insurance, and financing options.
