its original "numbers matching" "Sprint" 230 cu in (3.8 L) SOHC
inline-six, and 4-spd manual transmission, this Firebird is a great
find. Most first generation inline-six engines came equipped with a
single-barrel carburetor rated at 165 hp, but this "Sprint" model
six came with a four-barrel carburetor, developing 215 hp. This
Firebird hasn't really seen much cold weather and has spent most of
its life in California and Florida. The manual top fits snug and
looks great but this convertible looks even better when it's down.
The metallic blue finish over black interior is the perfect match.
Not a lot of options came with these Firebirds from the factory,
but recently added was a new Vintage A/C unit and heater, power
steering, new electronic ignition, fuel tank and sender, radiator,
clutch, new brakes and new tires. If you like cruising to your
