For Sale: 1906 Holsman High Tire in Kentwood, Michigan

Vehicle Description

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1906 Holsman High Wheeler for consideration. This vehicle is believed to be mostly original with only some minor upgrades made. The current owner purchased this vehicle out of Ohio about five years back; the previous owner did most of the work and touches to this Holsman. Some features include; aftermarket electric start, aftermarket fuel tank, aftermarket added battery points. The motor is a 100.5 cubic inch 2 cylinder motor that is believed to be original and paired with a Rope-Drive system instead of a transmission. Please call or email us today for more information.

The Holsman was built by Chicago architect Henry K. Holsman from 1902 to 1911. This American Automobile was the first High Wheeler built in the United States. It was also the first automobile with a reverse. Appearance of the Holsman did not change much over the years. It remained a simple light weight buggy styled vehicle with high wheels.
