Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1980 International
Harvester Scout II. Concord Blue with a white hard top and stripe,
paint quality is excellent over a straight and rust-free body.
Engine compartment and underside are nicely detailed. New tires on
refinished factory wheels. Stock suspension and ride height make
for a comfortable ride and good road handling. Equipped with power
steering and power disc brakes.
Interior shows well with crack-free dash, headliner, center console
and Rallye steering wheel. Newer seat upholstery and door panels.
Modern AM/FM/CD stereo in the dash. All lights and gauges are
working.
Under the hood is International's tried-and-true 196 cubic inch
four-cylinder engine mated to a Borg-Warner T-15 three-speed manual
transmission (one of the toughest gearboxes ever made). Recent
service includes an engine re-seal, transmission overhaul, full
tune-up, fresh fluids, new aluminum radiator, plus new belts and
hoses. Runs and drives well - and while not as fast as the V8
trucks, it's certainly more fuel efficient.
