Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 19th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The Ford Falcon, produced in the
U.S. from 1960 to 1970, was Ford's entry in the economical compact
segment of the market. The compact market was starting to heat up
as the cost and bulk of full-size cars continued to soar and the
Baby Boom generation began driving. By 1962 Ford had sold over 1
million Falcons, far outpacing the competition from GM (Corvair)
and Chrysler (Valiant). It should also be remembered that, because
many of the parts were shared to reduce costs, the Mustang would
not have been created without the Falcon. Our sharp little 1963
Falcon convertible looks terrific in its Futura trim and correct
Rangoon Red (J) paint. The Futura package offered bucket seats,
console, and trim upgrades for both the interior and the exterior.
This gem appears to be largely original and features the optional
170ci I6 engine, a 4-speed (!) manual transmission, correct wire
wheel covers, correct black vinyl interior (86), an AM radio, and
all the fresh air you need! The car runs very well and is a fine
example of a car from a simpler time. Street Dreams is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
