For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1953 MG TD.
Produced from 1950 until its final year of 1953, the MG TD featured
a suite of upgrades that set it apart not only from its
predecessor, but from many other sports cars of the day as well.
The TD combined the drivetrain of it's predecessor, the TC, a
modified hypoid-geared rear axle, the MG Y-type chassis, a familiar
T-type style body and independent suspension on front axle using
coil springs from the MG Y-type saloon. All of these combined to
create a significantly more comfortable driving experience and
inherently broadened the appeal of the plucky Brit. Those handling
upgrades were accompanied by MG's well-known 1250cc, inline 4
cylinder engine, which produced around 55 horsepower. This
particular TD comes painted in a stately two tone configuration
with a yellow body and black fenders. The interior features classic
brown seats with black interior paneling, and to literally top it
off, a new black convertible top is included as well. To view this
