This has to be one of the nicest 1968 Mustang Coupes we have ever
offered for sale. It's been repainted in the original Brittany Blue
paint and is in extremely nice shape. The paint has a nice luster
to it and is not full of chips or scratches, this car will show
well anywhere and has won numerous trophies and awards. The
interior is still appointed with blue standard bucket seats as it
would have came with June 21, 1968. Take a look at the engine bay
and how clean, neat and tidy it is! The 289 V8 is absolute stunning
under the hood and sounds as good as you would expect it to
breathing through two new XLerator turbo mufflers. One thing that
is not original to car however, is the transmission, a Tremec 5
speed manual transmission was added. Most people would consider
this addition an improvement. The tranny shifts smooth and works as
it should making this Mustang even more fun to drive than when
original. This car is riding on 4 beautiful chrome wheels that are
free of curb rash or any other damage. The BF Goodrich are deep in
rubber and have plenty of miles left on them. When you open the
decklid you'll find the spare and a well finished and solid trunk.
The real beauty of this car is actually the underside, if you're
familiar with Mustangs take a look and we think you'll agree! This
particular car was delivered to Allied Motor Co Inc in Nashville
GA. It's obvious this car has spent the majority of its life in the
south. Take a look at the underside pictures of the car and you'll
see the torque boxes have not been modified, the floor pans and
frame appear original and solid which are few and far in between on
Mustangs these days! This would also help confirm the belief this
car has the original miles of 73,741. Buy with confidence on this
one it's ready for the road and it's new home....call Jay Jeff or
Landon at 507-386-1726 or email "
[email protected]" to
discuss the car. TRADES WILL BE CONSIDERED AND FINANCING IS
AVAILABLE!
