Oldsmobile's classic Super 88 convertible powered by the 324 cu in
240 hp Rocket V8 mated to the new for 1956 four speed Jetaway
Hydra-Matic transmission. Also new to that year were the split
grilles, redesigned taillights, updated chrome sidespears,
foot-operated parking brake, and oval speedometer. This Super 88
was recently repainted and has also had the black cloth convertible
top redone. All of the brakes were serviced including drum brake
replacement. Inside you'll find the original interior to be in good
shape. Both door panels were reupholstered during the restoration
process. The engine breathes through a correct 4-bbl Rochester
carburetor which was also recently rebuilt. All four steel wheels
are new, as are the whitewall tires they are wrapped in. Take the
