Vehicle Description
Introduced in 1997, the "C5" generation Corvette was a radical
styling departure from the angular C4s. In addition to looking more
contemporary, the C5 featured General Motors latest technology
including drive-by-wire throttle, variable-effort steering and
optional magnetic selective ride control suspension. With an all
aluminium LS1 5.7l V8 and lightweight composite bodywork the C5
offered performance on par with contemporary Ferraris and Aston
Martins. A 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a 13.3 second quarter mile
mean this Corvette still packs a punch.
The car comes with all standard equipment along with the 50th
Anniversary package; Memory Seat package, auto dimming mirrors,
Magnetic selective ride control, tilt wheel, heads up display, and
50th Anniversary badging. Further features are the body side
moldings, 2.73 rear axle, dual climate control, premium sound
system with Bose speakers, magnesium wheels.
With just 8,461 miles, this anniversary edition is one of the
nicest ones we've seen. The paint is shiny and flawless, and the
interior dashboard has not a crack or blemish.
