Vehicle Description
You are looking at a Tribute car to the May 1962 Custom Rodder
magazine cover car, " The White Chevy". This radical 1949 Chevy
build was the vision of East Coast custom builder Joe Serino. For
the 50th anniversary in 2012 The Serino family cloned this iconic
car. While This car was built in a traditional style, like the
original, it was also upgraded with many bells and whistles. The
engine is a real deal 1962, 409 ci. V8. The 409 engine is backed by
an overdrive Tremec manual 5 speed transmission with hydraulic
clutch. With this overdrive feature, cruising the highways for long
distances at high speeds is not problem for this Old Girl. Wheels
are traditional style chrome reverse with Firestone whitewalls. The
Braking system was upgraded due to the power this car makes. Power
front disc brakes were added for safety. Other fun features this
car has are electric pop doors, electric actuated turn and electric
cutouts on the exhaust for when you want to really make the 409
rumble. A custom high end 12 speaker dual amp, dual battery powered
stereo gives you that concert feel while cruising! This is a fun
car that steals the show wherever she goes. Over 85k invested to
recreate this car. That price does not include any labor! Here's a
chance to own a one of a kind car for a lot less than it would cost
to build.
