1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo, great example of a super well cared
for and garaged Gran Turismo. Only 2 owner surviver. Second owner
finally went to the nursing home and left this gem behind for the
next lucky owner. Family friend of owner arranged purchase and we
are most happy to offer her for sale. One excellent refinish (soft
yellow) on excellent solid top to bottom body, trunk, floor, floor
boards and frame. New chrome rear bumper at refinish. All stainless
excellent and straight and straight body, front bumper excellent.
Complete tinted glass excellent. Cool color keyed stock hubs. White
roof was new when painted and new white vinyl roof at same time and
is excellent condition and not dry at all. Stock/tight/detailed 289
V8 with desirable factory 4BL. She is nice and peppy, great
shifting, stock 3-speed automatic. Detailed trunk with spare and
jack. Dual stock rear antennas, very cool. New taillight and
headlight bezels. Nice sounding dual exhaust with more desirable
stock headers. Studebaker floor mats, new carpet, new headliner
with cool stock chrome bows. Redone door panels to match the very
attractive new front and rear seats. All done with two-tone tweed
knit. Both buckets recline and drivers seat is wired for power
seat. Console is very functional and attractive. Back seat is also
comfy with center arm rest. 97K actual miles, so only 1733/year.
Original dash is beautiful and dash glass is clean with the like
new looking factory gauges. Cool stock tach even works. Original
dash pad is excellent, showing she has always been garaged. Also
steering wheel and Studebaker horn ring excellent. Original manuals
