When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love
affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was
smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer
had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford
Mustang became a must have among the American public. The 1971-1973
Mustangs offered more space and comfort than previous models,
following the industry trend of personal luxury coupes. The cars
were much larger, with wider tracks and wheelbase and were some of
the largest Mustangs ever built.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this nice 1973 convertible
for your consideration. Finished in a bright shade of Bright Red,
this car is very eye catching. The body of the car is in excellent
shape, free of rot or rust and has great paint work. The chrome and
rubber trim is likewise in excellent shape. A white power
convertible top looks good and fits well and comes with a matching
tonneau cover. 15in chrome American Racing wheels are fitted and
are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. The interior is very nice and
has very little wear and tear. Everything appears to be original
apart from an Alpine stereo and speakers.
A well equipped model, this car is fitted with both power brakes
and power steering and features a smooth running 302cid V8. The
previous owner claims the motor was rebuilt three years ago and
we'd be inclined to believe that due to the way it runs. A very
well sorted example, this comfortable cruiser will be sure to
please its new owners!
