Vehicle Description
1972 Mercedes Benz 350SL Convertible, A rare car and this
particular one was the 376th produced for this new 107 Body style.
I have taken many photos of this car, and currently has 149,000
miles. Clean title. Finished in bright red nonmetallic the paint
has excellent depth and shine, very straight with no damage,
alignment of the doors, windows, top, as well as the hood and trunk
all align nice. This car has had a professional respray some years
ago, the factory paint has shown its age. The Hard top is in
excellent shape as well as the headliner, there is a dark brown
soft top also in good condition. The Centra chrome wheels are
peeling, tires have some age to them. Chrome in good condition as
well as rubber bumper inlays. Interior is black, very tidy and well
kept, very small crack on dash near vent for defrost, and all
gauges, lights horn etc. are working. Factory AC car that does blow
but will need a charge of Freon, power windows, upgraded stereo,
Clifford kill switch. Carpet is good with wear to the driver side
floor pillar as seen in the photo. This 4.5 Litre motor runs very
well, no smoke, strange noises, fluids are all clean and up to
date, transmission shifts well and brakes also work well, there is
a little play in the steering wheel. All factory books, including
the metal warranty card. Shipping assistance available, these are
getting harder find in this condition and are on upswing in the
collector car market...
