Vehicle Description
Doesn't everybody dream about driving a '32 Roadster from time to
time? Maybe it's because they represent the stripped-down
simplicity of an earlier day. Maybe it's because each one is unique
and becomes part of the owner's image, or possibly their alter-ego.
Whatever your reasons, check out this roadster. It's a quality
build that looks good, drives great, and sounds awesome. See if
this car might be the one you have been dreaming about.
Start with an all steel body stripped of those unnecessary fenders.
Coat it in gloss black paint. Then have an automotive artist use it
as their canvas to create these beautifully painted, multi-color
flames. The results are stunning. Dress it up with chrome in all
the right places, starting with that iconic, vertical grill,
flanked by those big round headlights. Chromed suspension pieces
peek out from underneath adding a splash of flash both front and
rear. From the side, you will notice that extra care was taken to
be sure all the body panels were properly adjusted so that the
flames line up nicely when you close the hood and doors. You will
also notice the aggressive stance of car. The rear is super clean
with a chrome tube bumper and exhaust tips underlining the mirror
like gloss black of the trunk. Another nice feature of this car is
that it comes with a one-piece black canvas top that fits nicely
and looks great too.
Deep red upholstery and carpeting picks up nicely on the red in the
flames and looks awesome in combination with the black of the car
and dash. It also continues the quality of workmanship that is
evident everywhere in this build. The seats have a pleated bench
bottom, and bucket backs that offer nice comfort and support. A
black steering wheel on an aluminum three spoke hub with a Ford
center is mounted on a tilt column so that it can be adjusted to
your preference. A machine turned center panel houses Moon Classic
Instrument gauges, with a matching tach mounted on the steering
column. Keeping the look stripped down and minimalist, the shifter
for the automatic transmission is cleverly disguised as the
emergency brake lever on the floor. The trunk is trimmed out as
nicely as the interior and has plenty of room for chairs or coolers
or anything else you would like to bring with you on your
adventures.
While the paint and interior of this car carry the show, the
drivetrain backs up that show with plenty of go. Open up that
wonderful piano hinged hood and you will find a well presented,
neat and clean engine bay, with a healthy 350 V8 nestled inside.
The engine breathes in through a chrome air filter, an Edelbrock
4-barrel carb and a Performer EPS intake. It breathes out through
headers and Flowmaster mufflers which give it a nice engine purr
and low exhaust rumble. An MSD ignition system ensures reliable
spark, and a 12-inch fan on the radiator keeps things running cool.
Ribbed, polished aluminum valve covers help a bit with oil cooling
and look great. Attention to detail extends to the underpinnings of
this car too. Chrome suspension components not only look good, but
provide great handling with smooth steering and braking, and puts
the power on the ground effectively for some impressive
acceleration too. Everything sits on staggered 15-inch wheels
unencumbered by frivolous fenders.
Come on down and see if this is the roadster that your dreams are
made of. Then take it home and start living those dreams.
