Mercedes-Benz 280 SL. For details and information please contact
Ken Baker at 561-866-1601. The 280SL is the last generation of the
pagoda style Mercedes SL. We are told that this beautiful signal
red with black leather example is a two owner motor car. The
original family that owned it lived in California. We have the
original California black plates that we were told were originally
on the car. It was later sold to an attorney in Oklahoma who used
it sparingly. We do have service records from the Oklahoma owner
that shows that he took excellent care of it. It has had a repaint
in its original Signal Red. The repaint was performed to the
highest quality. The seats have been recovered in black leather and
we just had them re-padded with new horse hair. Because of the new
pads, they feel like new. The chrome on this car is absolutely
spectacular. We have found almost no flaws. In repainting the car,
the notches were left in the fenders just as they should be. The
spot welds on the inner fenders are also still there. Upon careful
inspection we have found absolutely no rust or corrosion anywhere
on this car. Underside looks just as beautiful as the body and the
interior. As seen in the photos, the engine bay is just beautiful.
That alone shows the loving care this car has received throughout
its life. Driving this car is a wonderful experience. The engine
idles wonderfully smoothly, and the transmission shifts smoothly
and with precision. The exhaust makes a great sound, and the
steering and suspension are as tight as you would expect them to
be. This 280 SL is completely turnkey and will bring many miles of
delight to its new owner. As with every car at Pedigree Motorcars,
this Mercedes received a thorough inspection and service in
preparation of getting it ready for sale. We had performed: Install

ready to be driven and enjoyed. It is equipped with a four-speed
automatic transmission as well as air conditioning. Both are the
most desirable options for these cars. As expected it comes with a
hard top and bamboo floor mats. Also retains its spare tire cover
and original tool roll. We encourage perspective buyers to
