This 1981 CORVETTE came from the factory with a power drivers seat, power door locks, power antenna, removable glass roof panels, rear window defroster, electric sport mirrors, aluminum wheels, A/C, P255/60R15 tires, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a 4 speed manual transmission 1981 was the last year a manual transmission was available in the Vette until late 1984 in the C4 model. There were 40,606 Corvettes produced in 1981, but only 5,575 were equipped with a 4 speed manual making this somewhat of a rare car. The 190 HP 350 was replaced in 2014 with a 425 HP 383 Stroker. The upgrade included fitting new clutch and flywheel components, headers and exhaust system. The AC compressor and the alternator are new as are all four tires. The engine has 4,000 miles since it was installed. The car is straight and clean. It runs and sounds good.
