Pininfarina’s design of the F360 was the start of the new platform for the modern era of Ferraris, seen even still today. Trading sharp angles and pop up headlights for the smooth flowing lines and integrated covered front lamps, plus the introduction of the clear engine cover that showcases the heart of the Prancing Horse, made this model a landmark car for Ferrari.
Everything about the 360 was new and improved. Not just an upgrade from the aging F355, but rather a scratch design that took input from a range of technical partners as well as the growing and successful racing department. Ferrari’s new 3.6-liter engine increased overall power by 25 HP over the F355 to approximately 400. More so, the lowering power to weight ratio was drastically improved thanks to the help of new Alcoa aluminum.
Our subject car is presented in excellent condition, showing less than 19,000 miles from new. S/N 135322 was sold new from Ferrari of Beverly Hills, on December 1, 2004 to its original owner in Bel Air, California. Present day, the car has been locally owned and serviced since 2015 with an enthusiastic Ferrari owner.
Exterior paint is original with no paintwork known. The coveted Challenge Grill option is also present as well as the side fender Ferrari shields. Engine bay is very tidy and correct in every way. Spider top operates as it came from the factory with no issues or interruptions. Wheels are in good condition with no curbing or road rash to make note of.
