Vehicle Description
Hot days and Cool nights. This is the car you want to be cruising
in this summer. The timeless good looks of a first year Camaro,
with the icing on top of the cake being that top can be dropped at
the touch of a button. And when the sun gets too hot, or if you
stayed out in it a bit too long, the A/C in this car will make you
feel as cool as you look driving it.
Silver metallic just seems like the perfect color for this car. The
'67s have such clean, smooth styling, and tight panel gaps on this
car complement those graceful body lines with the silver paint
highlighting everything nicely. From a distance, you will notice
the rake of the chassis that gives this car a nice, aggressive
stance, which is accentuated by those American Racing wheels and
beefy tires. Up front, a simple grill is flanked by big round
headlights and underlined with a pencil thin chrome bumper that
shines brightly. The bulge of the cowl induction hood lets you know
there is some power underneath it without having to mess up that
clean body with a bunch of badging. The rear spoiler sits above an
SS gas cap, and another sharp looking bumper has dual chrome
exhaust tips peeking out underneath it. The black convertible roof
is a perfect complement to the silver and looks great when it's up,
but looks even better when its down, hiding under the black
boot.
The interior of this car stays with the neat and clean theme and
includes a couple unique and tasteful touches. It starts with the
Deluxe '67 interior and a big comfortable armrest on the pleated
door panel. The seats are comfortable with a classy looking
highlight outlining the pleated centers both front and rear. The
Isotta steering wheel is pretty dramatic looking, and once you wrap
your hands around it, you won't want to let it go. The body color
carries through from the top of the doors and across the dash.
There is a black center section trimmed in chrome that houses the
heat and A/C controls at the top. Below those is an Alpine head
unit that is a radio/CD player and is iPod compatible with an Aux
hookup. A trio of gauges help keep track of critical engine
functions, and there is a factory style console with T-handle
shifter for the automatic trans, along with a nice arm rest with
cup holders added for your convenience.
Pop that cowl induction hood, and you will find a nicely warmed
over, 350 V8, dressed up so that it looks good with the hood up at
shows. Like the body of the car, it starts with a neat and clean,
stock look to the engine bay. A chrome air filter housing tops an
Edelbrock carb that sits on a GM Performance intake. The ribbed
valve covers are polished up, and the A/C compressor and alternator
are chromed. Headers get the spent gases out after the engine makes
its power, sending them downstream through Flowmaster mufflers to
make nice sounds as they escape out the chrome exhaust tips. A
4-speed automatic trans sends the power back to a 3.73 posi rear
which multiplies that power and puts it on the ground through
245/50R17 tires, while power front disc brakes work through
235/45R17s to make sure you can haul this ride back down from
speed.
Get ready to cruise in style this summer. Come on down and check
out this sweet ride.
