1,665 miles since the no-expense-spared body-off restoration. This
half-ton KB1 features an all-steel body, steel fenders, full-length
steel running boards and a detailed undercarriage. It is powered by
a Chevrolet 350ci crate V8 engine with Edelbrock intake and
4-barrel carburetor, and a HEI electronic ignition mated to a Turbo
400 overdrive automatic transmission with Lokar floor shifter. The
engine stays cool with a custom aluminum radiator. This custom
pickup has been lowered 2" with a Camaro front subframe and is
equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, Chevy 8.5"
rear end, dual Flowmaster exhaust, external transmission cooler,
front sway bar and rear Hotchkis track bar. The gas tank was
relocated to the rear and a Vintage Air system was installed. The
interior features a beautifully finished gray cloth adjustable
bench seat and door panels, restored original banjo steering wheel,
new carpeting, EQUUS gauges, crank-out front windshield, wipers,
emergency flashers, turn signals, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX
Bluetooth player with four behind-the-seat Pioneer speakers. The
exterior features frenched halogen headlights and frenched antenna,
new tinted glass, new window felt, weatherstripping and window
moldings, an oak bed with oak runners, a rechromed front grille and
hood ornament, and a custom rear bumper. It rides on new American
