documented cars in the country, with extensive service and
restoration records dating back to the original owner even
including the original Mercedes-Benz warranty plate and original
service book showing the initial servicing of the car completed by
Mercedes-Benz of Fresno . The car only has 75,484 original
documented miles and is a three owner car. This is a completely
unmolested car which still retains its original factory spot welds.
This car began its life in Fresno California and was owned by a
woman who kept comprehensive service records and who owned the car
through the mid 1980s. The car traded hands and stayed in
California for many years until the second owner moved to
Washington. In 2004, Buffalo Restorations in Washington performed a
full cosmetic restoration on the car which included a bare metal
respray in the cars original color of metallic grey blue and a full
interior restoration in the original parchment leather. Recent work
includes a valve adjustment, new exhaust system, reconditioned dash
wood and bumpers, installation of retractable seatbelts and a new
A/C compressor for the Frigiking air conditioning. In addition to
the service history from all three previous owners, the car comes
with paperwork and photos documenting the restoration, toolkit and
matching hardtop.
