Vehicle Description
The 993 lineup has been heralded by industry leaders, professional
race car drivers, Porsche purist and the young kid with the poster
hanging in his bedroom! These are the last of an incredible
air-cooled history that Porsche built and established from the
early 911's to the last generation of air-cooled greatness such as
this '96 Twin Turbo showpiece. With just 1,297 believed to be
produced for the USA in 1996 this is one reason the price of these
have continued to climb over the past decade. With the strong
global demand for these cars it is a safe bet to invest in and
enjoy on the weekends!
This timeless and iconic Porsche is one car that may look just as
good sitting in your driveway as it does hustling the down the
street at 120mph. These cars are such a joy to drive or ride along
as a passenger. The feel of the twin turbos spooling up and
launching you from a standstill to highway speeds is more addictive
than any roller coaster Disney Land has to offer. Then throw in the
outstanding braking abilities that you want to experience in a good
way as this rumbling beast's huge red calipers grab the discs with
authority and if you are not wearing your seatbelt plan on eating
dash quickly. The one thing that many forget about these cars is
that they are all-wheel drive thanks to the proven system that was
established in the famous 959 that established a strong run in the
all-wheel drive setup for Porsche from mid-80's.
Delivered new out of Town North Porsche in Richardson Texas to Dr.
Richard Stanley where he enjoyed the car for just over 3yrs and
less than 5k miles. The car was bought by a dealer out of
Farmington Hills Michigan and sold to the 2nd owner who kept the
car up at his lake home in northern Michigan. The car was treated
to routine maintenance its entire life and was cared for properly
to maintain its current state. The car was ordered with precision
from the factory with some very unique and expensive items from the
Porsche catalog. The car is featured in the prominent Guards Red
paint with Cashmere/black leather interior. Further a la carte
items are as follows; Porsche floormats, heated front seat package,
Light Rootwood shift level knob, Porsche caps in rims, Light
Rootwood instrument carrier(dash), Light Rootwood brake handle,
Metal door sill with Insignia, Light Rootwood door panel trim,
storage tray in center console, deviating velour trunk carpet,
heated seats, Headrest restraint w/ Porsche crest, driver and
passenger power lumbar support, Digital sound package, remote CD
Changer in front, and Supple leather front and rear seats. The
original MSRP was $115,256! Vehicle is stunning in person and shows
extremely well. New tires, new battery, fresh service, all original
books with leather pouch, factory MSRP, radio code card, original
stereo along with new Porsche touchscreen stereo/navigation system
recently installed. This is the car to have and with many of these
leaving the USA for international buyers, the availability of nice,
clean and well documented cars are harder and harder to find. This
one is priced right and has the miles that you can enjoy to drive
it as opposed to just looking at it and wishing you could log some
miles on it. The trailer queens don't provide the fun factor that
this Turbo will give the next owner!
