Vehicle Description
Vintage Motorcars is proud to present this fully custom 1986
Pontiac Fiero GT.
This professionally built custom Pontiac Fiero GT is powered by a
511ci big block 8-cylinder engine. Yes.... You read that correctly.
A 511ci big block V8. One would think this motor would simply be
too much for the little Fiero engine compartment, but it actually
fits quite nicely. This build was professionally done with absolute
performance in mind.
The engine is fed by a Holley 900 cfm carburetor, and is
ingeniously mated to a Turbo Hydra-Matic 425 automatic transmission
with a 3,800 stall converter. This high performance engine features
Chevrolet rectangular aluminum heads, intake and water pump. This
is a car that will set you back in your seat, and put a huge smile
on your face!
To handle the power; a set of custom 35 spline rear axles were
installed along with a 1" rear sway bar. All that power is no good
if you can't stop, so a set of 4-corner disc brakes were added to
ensure this little rocket ship can come to a rest once in a
while.
The exterior of the car is kept to appear stock. This is truly the
definition of a "sleeper" (until your opponent hears the exhaust).
All the sheetmetal is straight and true with all the gaps just as
they were from the factory. The paint is very respectable with only
minor chips from normal driving. The rear panel is slightly
de-laminated, but nothing to get excited about. After all.... This
is a race car!
In all seriousness... this is a super fun and super fast car that
you can drive on the streets. All the lights and gauges work just
as they should, as well as the radio. This is a whole lot of fun
for not a lot of money.
