Aficionados will know that all the Turbo 996s have the later style
facelift headlamps (although by 2003 these had made their way onto
the Carrera models) and that the engine is unique to the turbo 996.
It is a water-cooled version of an earlier 993 unit and so not
prone to the rear main oil seal or intermediate shaft woes of it’s
siblings.
Very sensibly specified when new with PCM2 (Sat nav, Radio / CD and
telephone module), Park assist, Bose speakers, rear wiper and a
sunroof this car has always been cherished. Full service history
with Porsche main dealers and specialist including 4 recent tyres,
discs and pads all round and the later stainless steel manifold
