This shoebox certainly has some "pop". Redone in a traditional old
school theme. MECHANICS: The owner has it dialed in, functions very
well. The engine was just rebuilt and features some nostalgic
performance upgrades- Offenhauser finned aluminum heads and
aluminum intake with dual carbs. Has Accel ignition system. New
aluminum radiator with stock fan and auxiliary electric fan keeps
it cool. Has duals with long skinny mufflers for that nostalgic
sound. Upgraded to a 12 volt system and alternator, it is rewired
too. The 3-speed shifts smooth and overdrive works great. Has
upgraded radial whitewall tires. Very functional car- clock
upgraded to quartz, gauges work, lights work including interior and
dash. There is a hidden stereo system- satellite/Bluetooth is in
glovebox, speakers under the seat, amp in trunk.
EXTERIOR: It is very flashy. Has a bright red finish with white
hand pinstripes. The body is arrow straight and gaps are tight.
Trunk lock is filled, has hidden release in gas door. Frenched
license plate and headlights. Chrome is shiny and bright. Jambs are
shiney, rubber is soft. It's dressed up with lake pipes, dummy
spotlights and baby moon wheels. Of course it has blue dot
taillights.
INTERIOR: Also flashy. Has custom pleated upholstery on door panels
and seats. Custom headliner. Has red seatbelts and carpet. Clean
stock dash with some pinstripe and peppermint shift knob.
TRUNK: It is carpeted and upholstered. UNDERSIDE: has clean floors
and all the components look properly maintained. This is a turnkey
car ready to enjoy on the road and at the shows!
