Engine starts no problem and NO SMOKE ! Can the odo be for real or maybe 156,000 ? But the engine seems to be all original so who knows.
It has been repainted once over what was originally "Desert Rose" I think it is called. It has been sitting about 20 years as far as the son of the owner and I could figure. I bought it from the son who said his dad bought it and drove it for awhile and then parked it back in the late 90's. It had the AC unit hung on the engine and I saved EVERYTHING from that install and it is safely in the trunk. ( See photos ).

There is the original jack and lug wrench(es) in the trunk. The only rust damage are the two floor boards in the cabin and even those are not that bad.
The fuel sender and pickup are plugged with old gas but surprisingly the fuel tank has only a bit of varnish in it. The fuel takeoff is from the tank drain plug and when I washed the tank with two gallons of gas there was only minimal discoloration of the fuel when I drained it.
Front wheel cylinders are honed and rebuilt but the shoes are shot and with that you will want to go thru the entire brake system. Oh yes, the master cylinder is a new rebuilt unit from O'reilly so that's good to go.
All the upholstery is a goner as is most of the interior.
The dome light works but not with the door switches, just the dimmer switch.
windshield wipers do not turn on. Headlights ( low beams) and taillights / turn signals work but the signals do not auto return,
The heater comes on but is not hooked up so that might be a bad core. AC blower comes on in all speeds.
The ignition switch is new and I have the original keys for the doors and trunk.
Four tires are shot so the drivers rear you can keep for the spare if you choose.
I've done an oil change with filter.
I have checked the build plate and all of the driveline is original.
