You would be hard pressed to find an unrestored 1946 Chevy Pickup with an all steel body as straight and rust-free as this one. The only rust on the truck is on the bottom of the cab behind the wheel wells. The remainder has only some minor surface rust and no significant dents. The grill is in excellent shape, ready for re-chrome plating if desired. The interior is also in excellent condition with no tears or dents and all the gauges. We purchased the truck in Georgia where it had been stored inside for at least 20 years.
The truck rolls but doesn’t run. If you’re planning to upgrade the drive train anyway on a non-running truck, this is the truck for you. If you want to keep a six cylinder, this truck has a 1955 – 235 six and the original 4 speed transmission. We also have a newly rebuilt 3 speed synchromesh we can sell with the truck if desired.
