Vehicle Description
One of 8,960 ever produced, this 1960 Buick Invicta was a full
custom build with thousands of man-hours invested. This car is a
multiple award winner. Since its completion in 2012, it has won the
2013 Beach Barons Car Club Choice Trophy and won Silver in the 2014
Buick Nationals. It has modern running gear, including power
steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning and power
front windows. This build is powered by the formidable Buick 455ci
V8 engine complete with Holley multi-port fuel injection, MSD
ignition and automatic transmission, and rides on a 4-bar
triangulated rear suspension with coil springs and 9" Ford
posi-traction suspension. The interior is completely redone with
new leather seats, door panels and custom console painted in the
same scheme as the beautiful exterior: Tangerine Candy with Copper
and Champagne. The interior also includes concealed radio and
gauges, door poppers, a concealed trunk latch, and has a trunk that
is leather upholstered and complete with a secret compartment. This
total frame-off build is stunning, with all of the chrome replated
to show-condition.
