TR8 Convertible.The first owner was an doctor,the second owner for
23 years was a state senator,and the third owner is now an 83 year
old man with several cars in his collection.When reviewing the
pictures note that the original window sticker is with the
paperwork as is the passport to service and all delivery papers and
brochures.When I was contacted about the car I expected to drive
and see the typical tired looking 37 year old British car,instead I
arrived and reviewed a crisp,fresh,time warp machine that had never
needed cleaned because it never got crusty.All the
nuts,bolts,buttons,and switches have the look of a new 1980 Triumph
TR8.Then there is the drive! The original Strombergs and all
pollution components were removed and saved and replaced by a
Hollie carb,the V8 engine is silky smooth as is the clutch and
transmission.The car drives and looks the part of an honest 7985
mile example.Drive is that of a brand new car.

overlook this opportunity.If you are just getting into the
collector car world,what a fabulous entry level collectible with
just over 2000 built(factory records were horrible),you will not
