Vehicle Description
Presented in its original Alaskan White, this Chrysler 300 has
received an older restoration that set out to preserve its
originality. The sheet metal appears original, with the exception
of the rear quarters, which were replaced at the time of
restoration. The door gaps and rockers are excellent, the floors
are originals and all of the glass is original, except for the
windshield. The original Air Temp air conditioning sticker still
resides on the passenger side of the back window. The paint, chrome
and other trim is all in excellent condition. Given the age of the
restoration, the car has been preserved phenomenally well and could
easily be shown at local and regional shows. The interior is
beautiful and in excellent overall condition. It has a reproduction
dash pad, but is otherwise original. This 300 is powered by a 413ci
8-cylinder engine backed by automatic transmission. The brakes and
fuel systems have been completely gone through, all of the fluids
have been changed, and the car has been extensively road-tested.
The brakes are excellent and virtually all mechanical functions are
in top working order. This stunning coupe is well-known by both
clubs as its curator for the last several decades was a proud
collector of letter-series cars and hence, very active in all club
activities.
