Vehicle Description
A great classic coupe, a big block under the hood, survivor-grade
amenities, and a terrific price all have you thinking about this
1976 Buick Electra Limited.
This coupe was sold new at Jim Simmons Pontiac Buick in Concord,
NC. Forty-two years and less than 50,000 miles later, and this
classic is being sold in the same town. In fact, you just don't see
too many Buicks from this era anymore, especially as nicely
presented as this one. It's a shame there aren't more around,
because for lovers of the ultra-long American cars, it doesn't get
much better than this. The sheet metal has a beautiful style line
that starts at the grille and doesn't finish until it reaches that
hint of a tailfin. It looks terrific in the Liberty White
presentation that is quite factory correct. The way the full-length
trim still looks like a continuous line lets you know the car has
always been handled with care. You can tell this one was loaded
right from Buick with features like the rear fender skirts and blue
Landau top. Plus, the whitewalls with Buick Rallye wheels is a
great way to finish this total package cruiser.
The blue vinyl half roof looks great on the outside, and it's a
preview of the color inside, too. The unique "metallic" undertone
to the velour seats gives it a distinctive presentation that only a
premium '70s machine can offer. The whole interior looks quite
original, and its amazing condition is more evidence of this
coupe's careful life. As a full-size machine, it offers spacious
seating for six in that unique '70s brand of cool. And the
fold-down armrest is there whenever you want to cruise in more
individualized comfort. You sit behind the factory wheel, and the
full wood applique package here matches the dash to give the whole
atmosphere an upscale appearance. Speaking of upscale, you have all
the best period-correct options like the power seat, power windows,
power locks, and cruise control. Even the original AM radio with
8-track is still on display with its original Buick cartridge.
While this looks like a time capsule, there is one upgrade you
won't see, but you'll feel it. The air conditioning has been
converted to modern R134a to continue blowing cold.
While you've seen plenty of premium features throughout this coupe,
the best one is under the hood. The premium Electras received the
455 cubic-inch big block V8 to make sure it has the power and
torque to move the luxury Buick. The presentation is so honest,
right down to the factory decals, that it would be hard to imagine
this is anything but original. This classic comes with all the
right cruiser features, like power steering, power brakes w/disc up
front, and a three-speed automatic transmission. So this is a great
driving package that needs nothing added, except you behind the
wheel.
This time capsule Buick comes with a service manual and the
original window sticker - that way you can show how loaded and
original this coupe is. So when you can get something that's this
nicely presented and so distinctive for such an affordable price,
you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call now!
