Vehicle Description
There are rare cases when something that is already great is made
even better. Such is the case in this gorgeous 1963 Chevy Nova SS.
This is a REAL SS Nova (see the Trim Tag below) that has been
modified and upgraded to be a real contender on the show circuit as
well as a fast street car too.
For 1963, the Chevy II Nova Super Sport was released, under RPO
Z03. It featured special emblems, instrument package, wheel covers,
side moldings, bucket seats, and floor shifter.
As mentioned above, the Nova option could not officially have V8
engines at this time, the standard SS engine was the six-cylinder
when the SS was a sport and appearance package, but small-block V8
engine swaps were commonplace among enthusiasts.
The Nova SS started out life back in its day with a six cylinder
since no V8s were an option in 1963. No problem, the Nova now has
plenty of power with a potent small block Chevy engine residing in
the state of the art, Art Morrison complete front end. (Pardon the
pun)
The engine is a early Chevy Tuned Port motor that was usually found
in a Corvette or Camaro back then during the '80s and '90s. It has
been warmed over and also has headers, chrome accessories,
performance cooling system and much more.
Sit inside the restored interior in the bright red and white bucket
seat interior and gaze all around at the pristine painted dash and
door panels, gauges, carpet, and audio system.
After, allow your eyes to look at the bright red body rolling on
polished mags and performance tires and you will know that this is
a one of a kind ride.
