Only 1,500 miles on a rebuilt 235 cid engine and a
"three-on-the-tree" transmission in this classic Chevrolet pickup!
Introduced in March of 1955, Chevrolet's new 'Task Force' series of
trucks was quite a departure from their existing line of pickups.
Smooth, rounded sheet-metal replaced the old pontoon-style fenders,
and large, wrap-around windshield glass offered better visibility
and gave a more contemporary look. The body on this truck is in
great shape and would make an excellent weekend driver! The flame
paint job looks hot but keeping the drive train cool is a new
aluminum radiator. The inline six runs like a top and pairs nicely
with the manual transmission. Driving a three speed on the tree is
a unique driving experience that will surely bring you back to a
different era. The interior has been refinished with gray cloth
seats as well as headliner and custom door panels. Stock dash
components and instruments look back at you when you are in the
driver's seat. The dash has not been modified and still retains
it's look for what fits this pickup. In the bed of the pickup you
will find a refinished wood bed as well as a custom Chevy bowtie
tailgate. A custom dual exhaust exits out through the rear bumper
to finish off the personality of this old school pickup. This truck
is a great mix of originality and custom touches and would be an
excellent choice for someone in the market for a turnkey classic
pickup! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can
