Vehicle Description
1950 Chevrolet Pickup
They call it "Mello Yello...."
This is a gorgeous 5-window, 1950 Chevy 3100 pickup that has been
customized into a great top-level driving truck that is very
reliable. It is powered by a fresh 350ci Chevrolet V-8 with
Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake manifold and carburetor, HEI
ignition, coated headers flowing down to a custom exhaust with
Flowmasters...starts on the first turn every time. The power gets
to the ground through a Turbo 350 automatic 4-speed transmission
and 10-bolt Chevy rear-end geared to 3:73. It rides super smooth on
the Fatman front-end with a 4-inch drop, new shocks, springs and
bushings complete with disc brakes. The exterior is painted in a
special coded yellow along with the Stockton Rallye "steelie"
wheels with chrome caps. It just fits perfect and looks so good
with this stance. The bed has been completely redone in oak wood
with a stainless steel kit in between. It is a complete body off
restoration and looks great. The interior is painted in the same
color wherever there is steel and the seats are covered in custom
black crocodile leather with yellow insets to complete the look
with the outside.
It is absolutely stunning. Ididit tilt wheel, Moon shifter,
shoulder belts, heater, power wipers, hidden (but easily
accessible) battery and Haneline instruments complete the look. The
wipers and all signals/lights work perfect and fit the rig as a
whole. This is a great rust free steel vehicle that is a trophy
winner but an excellent driving truck at the same time.
