Beautiful 1958 Corvette convertible finished in Regal Turquoise
with contrasting white coves. It is powered by a 283/245hp
dual-quad engine with 4-speed manual transmission and Carter
carburetors. This '58 is optioned with heater, wide whitewall
tires, correct '58 hubcaps, window washer, new chrome, Wonder Bar
radio, period-correct generator, 1958 clock, white soft convertible
top, new door panels, new rugs and new seat covers. Hood louvers
and twin truck spears were exclusive to the 1958 model. The
addition of seatbelts as standard equipment was also new to this
year. Prior to this, seatbelts were a dealer-installed option.
Chevy manufactured 9,168 units of 1958 models, and only 510 were
painted the Regal Turquoise hue. This 'Vette had a body-on
restoration completed one year ago, with pictures and receipts of
work.
