Vehicle Description
This Willys wagon had a frame-off restoration. New Dana 44 rear end
installed, with over 1,000 hours in the chassis alone. Everything
was smoothed and powder-coated gloss black. A Chevy small-block V8
engine was installed, but the factory manual transmission and
transfer case were retained. The attention was turned to the body,
which was completely rust free. The body is laser-straight and
solid steel. The outside, inside and bottom of the body were
painted a dark metallic blue. A tasteful interior was installed
with hand-cut wood strips inlaid in the floor and tailgate. A fun
car to drive. From the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams Collection.
