Vehicle Description
Of the 1,613 built, this Torino GT convertible is Marti-certified
as one of 13 with white paint and trim. It is powered by its
factory M-code 351ci Cleveland engine with original
high-compression heads and 4V carburetor. Backing the engine is a
completely rebuilt C6 automatic transmission. This well-optioned
convertible features bucket seats, center console, hideaway
headlights, clock, HD battery, hood scoop, 9" traction-loc 3.25
rear end and a front spoiler. Documented as having mostly Southern
ownership, this vehicle has been well-maintained with no accidents,
and was a driving survivor prior to full mechanical and cosmetic
professional restoration. It has 36,000 original miles (title reads
mileage exempt) but has not been driven since the completion of its
restoration. It retains all of its original body panels, including
the factory quarters. During the meticulous restoration, all body
panels, drivetrain and everything else was disassembled, restored
and professionally painted. The exterior is show-quality original
Ford White with the original tinted glass, including in the
convertible top. All interior and exterior chrome and stainless was
replated and professionally polished. It also features a new black
bucket interior, black convertible top, weatherstripping, seals,
decals, 1970 hood with functional cooling vents, extra gauges and
restored 1968-69 Torino GT wheels.
