We are very proud to offer for sale in our Sherwood showroom of
Hall Truck and Auto, this amazingly cool example of early 1970s
Detroit steel. This is one super cool car. This car is powered by a
great running, and excellent driving 351 Cleveland V8, and
automatic transmission. This 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7, is truly one
of the nicest examples of this car that I have ever seen. The very
cool and rare striped interior, absolutely screams 1973, Its ready
for bell bottoms and high collars. The interior of this great time
capsule is 100% original, it has not been touched, and it is
absolutely excellent. When you sit behind the wheel of this
original gem, you feel like you have stepped back in time. This is
one of the finest examples of original interior that we have ever
seen, and one of the coolest looking. When we purchased this great
original Muscle car, it was in its original brown exterior paint.
We decided to give it a period correct Green Ivy metallic paint
job, to better extenuate its great lines, and tough stature. We
then put on new Wheels, and tires, vinyl top, and also added air
shocks in back, to finish off, what is one of the Baddest of 1973
Mercury Cougar XR7s that I have seen anywhere, any time. The paint,
the interior, the body, are all in amazing condition. This beauty
was purchased in near perfect original condition, with no body
damage and zero rust issues. After all the time I have spent
looking for this kind of a find, I am still amazed when I find one
that has been treated so perfectly for so many years. It is a great
pleasure to find this kind of car, untouched in this kind of shape.
If you are a fan of the early 70s Detroit steel, and are looking
for a great example of it, this is as good as it gets. This car has
all the power you would expect from a 351 V8, and drives down the
road excellent. This beautiful car is a prime example of a much
simpler time, when we all still enjoyed cars, and cruising, just
for the sake of doing so. At Hall truck and auto, we look high and
