Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1965 Mustang convertible. This
example of the historic mother of the "Pony Car" has been fully
restored and updated in 2010 and only has 9,000 miles since the
restoration. Some of the work done include: New crate 331 V8 with
MSD and a Holly 750 carburetor with a rebuilt and upgraded C4
automatic transmission. The new ceramic coated headers are
connected to the new Flowmaster dual exhaust system with new tail
pipes. The new white power top looks great and has a new boot. It
has new power steering, new gauges and the car was re-wired all
around. To keep the inside cool, it has a new Classic Air
Conditioning system which is not currently working but we believe
it needs a condenser. Inside the new dash, new console, new carpet
really makes it look fresh along with the new white vinyl seats,
bucket in front and bench in back. The door panels look great to go
along with all the new items. It has the Tropical Turquoise paint-
although not the original color of the car, it is still period
correct and still has a great shine. The gauges work but the radio
does not. This rag top pony car is ready for the warm weather and
car shows! We can arrange shipping to your location. If you have
any questions, please contact Savannah Classic Cars 912-235-2347
