The Chevelle was a mid-size model that was produced over a few
generations starting in 1964. The second generation is arguably the
most popular and featured a distinctly sculpted "coke bottle" body
with tapered fenders and a rear quarter kick up. A variety of
engines were on offer but the most potent and powerful being the
454cid V8 in the SS. The 1972 model year brought a host of changes
such as new parking lights, revised grill, and hidden windshield
wipers, it was enough to be America's second best selling car that
year.

SS for your consideration. Finished in a eye catching shade of
Cranberry Red with twin white stripes, this car is in beautiful
condition. The body is super straight and free of rust or dents and
the paint quality is excellent, with beautiful shine. The chrome
trim is very shiny and free of pitting and the plastic and rubber
trim is equally clean. 15in five spoke alloy wheels are a classic
look and add to the muscular appeal. The car is also equipped with
the Cowl Induction hood as well as hood pins. The interior of the
car is stunning, and looks as nice as it did when it left the
factory. Everything is in tip top shape, from the excellent door
panels to the sag free headliner. The dashboard is crack free and
original apart from the newer radio. The car is equipped with a
column shifter and still has the original steering wheel. The front
and rear bench seats are very nice and have no rips or stains.
Everything appear to be working well.
Originally equipped with a 350cid V8, this car has been fitted with
the very desirable 454cid big block V8. The engine is incredible
and runs very well. The sound is extremely intoxicating and is one
of the best parts of the entire car. The car runs and drives very
well and is more than happy to cruise all day. Having been loved by
its current owner for the last two years, this Chevelle is ready to
make a new home happy.
