For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

The Ford Mustang has always been a great platform for hot rodders to customize and make it their own. Because so many different custom builds are on the market today buyers have to be careful to make sure they understand what has been done to the vehicle they are considering purchasing and if it was a quality build or not. That's why we always get excited when we see a professional build like this 1966 Mustang come through the doors.

Professionally restored over the course of nearly 2 years. This Mustang has it all and is ready to be enjoyed on the open road. Gone is the original 6-cylinder engine and its been replaced with a 5.0L roller cam engine that has been bored .030 over. Inside the engine internals you'll find a Comp Xtreme Energy Cam, Crane Energizer Rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, and a Holley 4-bbl Carburetor to name a few. Bolted to the engine is a Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to the Ford 8.8 rear end that has been equipped with a eaton 3.73 posi rear gear and Moser axles.

The body is a near flawless wimbeldon white with red stripes that continues under the hood and in the trunk area. The hood and trunk are both fiberglass with steel support braces. Inside the interior was pulled from a 2003 Mustang to achieve the high back seats but then retrofitted with a custom pony interior to give it that one-off look. Because they were pulled from a new Mustang, they were able to keep the controls for the power driver's seat, which is a nice touch.

Fully documented by restoration receipts and build photos that fill 2-binders, this Mustang needs nothing to be enjoyed today. If you are looking for a car that you can work on and build, then this isn't the Mustang for you. This professionally built '66 Mustang is ready to be enjoyed on the open roads today! Don't miss your chance to own your dream car.
