Vehicle Description
The Dodge Charger was first announced in 1964 as a competitor to
the newest muscle cars from cross town rivals and was eventually
produced in a variety of body styles and sizes. While the early
1966-1967 models were powerful and stylish, they didn't sell too
well. It wasn't till the second and third generation models that
the Charger really came into its own skin as a tough, powerful
muscle car. The third generation model was introduced in 1971 and
featured a new split grill, and a "coke body fuselage"
bodystyle.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this mean 1974 Charger for
your consideration. Featuring the powerful 360cid 2bbl V8 along
with the automatic transmission, this is one eye and ear catching
car. The SE package features a distinctive "triple opera window"
rear window and a vinyl roof. It also features the large 5mph
bumpers. Finished in Bright Blue Poly with dark contrasting areas.
The chrome trim is in great shape and the rubber trim is ok, with
some slight discoloration. Wide Cragar wheels add to the tough
looking exterior, as does the custom rear badges and script. A rear
spoiler is also fitted along with tinted windows. The matching blue
interior is in excellent condition with great button seats and door
panels. The faux wood trim on the dash and doors is in great shape.
A T-grip shifter and an aftermarket tach/shift light add to the
sporty vibe. A modern stereo is also fitted.
The 360cid V8 starts up right away and drives really well. The car
is a solid driver for someone who wants a cool car to take to shows
or simply cruise and scare Hondas. It is a true American
legend!
