Vehicle Description
Here we have a 1969 Camaro SS 396/375hp that has received an
unbelievable restoration. The quality of workmanship that went into
this build is absolutely amazing. After spending weeks on a
rotisserie the body was perfected from top to bottom before paint.
The deep black paint looks like you could fall over in it. One of
the best black paint jobs I have seen and it is show quality
throughout the entire car, just look at the pictures of the bottom
of the rockers, unbelievable! As you know black is very unforgiving
on a car and will show any imperfections that exist. They car is
laser straight all over and no imperfections are to be found. The
Camaro has excellent seams and body alignment throughout with a
perfect fit and finish. The bottom of the car is just as nice as
the top side. All chrome, glass, stainless, and all weather
stripping have all been replaced with new. The complete interior is
of course all new also with new chrome hardware, gauges, interior
lights and complete wiring throughout the car. The Camaro is a true
big block X22 SS car with a CE 396/375hp engine backed by a Muncie
4 speed transmission and 12 bolt rear axle with 3.31 posi and disc
brakes. The 396 is a 3969854 casting number with a GM aluminum
intake and the correct 375hp heads (casting # 3964291) with
mechanical lifters. The engine has been totally rebuilt along with
the rest of the drive train and performs perfectly, fires right up
with no smoke or hesitation and idles smoothly. The Camaro also
features power steering and 4 wheel Z06 corvette power disc brake
calipers and rotors. The wheels are 18" and 20" with new tires.
This car runs and drives as good as it looks, very tight on the
road with no shakes or rattles and nothing is more fun than
shifting through the gears with a high revving big block and with
the tone of the custom stainless Magnaflow exhaust system you will
never turn on the radio.
