With warmer weather approaching most of the country, there are many
out there looking for their next classic to enjoy the local car
show scene with. This gorgeous 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe is a
perfect candidate for a night on the town. With a dual quad crate
350ci V8, vintage a/c, and a gorgeous two-tone vinyl interior, this
car is ready to be enjoyed today!
The pride of a local Mooresville, NC barber who actually owned the
vehicle in the late 90's and then sold it locally. However about
2-years later he regretted that decision and decided to actually
buy back the vehicle in 2001. At that point he completely went
through the vehicle and had NHRA legend Doug Herbert take a crate
350 and do a small build on the motor that included chrome
everything, dual quad edelbrock intake, dual quad carburetors,
March pulley system, and vintage a/c. From there he had a local
shop install a new and updated two-tone vinyl interior that could
just about pass for leather. Inside is amazing to log miles
from.
According to the family, the '38 was his pride and joy, and
unfortunately in 2017 the owner passed away. The owner was very
much involved in the car clubs around this area and his funeral was
full of his friends and family that brought their classics out for
one last get together with this car also in attendance. The family
decided that after his passing that it just made more sense for the
vehicle to go to its next home where someone would appreciate it
like its owner for the past 17 years.
