Vehicle Description
What you see before you is truly a labor of love. This 1938 Dodge
pick up was commissioned, then built by a true craftsman. Nothing
is left untouched on this beauty. From the Perfect Red paint on the
sculpted fenders to the smallest detail like the frenched fuel
filler neck, and inset air control gauges, this baby is well
designed and finished!
The multiple books show the chronology of the build from delivery
of body to the finished product. Receipts, pictures and manuals are
available for hours of delightful perusing. Even the original title
and sales receipt is included. This is probably one of the most
well documented builds I have ever seen.
Imagine walking up to this beauty, slammed to the ground when the
airbags are deflated, admiring the smooth body lines highlighted by
touches of polished chrome. Reaching for the shiny door handle to
be pleasantly surprised by the suicide doors allowing easy entrance
to a custom leather interior enhanced by more chrome and perfectly
proportioned paint. Looking around you will see a dash made to
order with gauges and A/C controls perfectly set for maximum visual
impact. Gazing toward the console you will find the air ride
controls neatly tucked but easily accessible as well. Turning the
key engages the senses as the 347 rumbles to life and the sweet
tone emerges from the engine bay and from below the vehicle from
the nicely tucked exhaust tips, subtly but intentionally emerging
from the rear step. Inflating the airbags raises the truck to any
desired driving level and produces a very smooth ride. The looks
you will get are staggering.
A walk around this truck reveals true craftmanship. Every line is
clean and the paint is finished to perfection. Underneath is also
finished in ultimate detail. From the 4 wheel disc brakes, Currie
nine inch, air ride system, vintage air A/C nothing was left
unattended to.
Please call us for a Private Viewing of this very special one of a
kind street rod.
