Building on the successful first series of C/K pickup, Chevrolet launched a revised version in 1967. Coil springs remained at all four corners beneath the restyled Chevy C10, but a crisp, clean pickup appeared on the outside, and in some opinions the new Chevy looked even more modern than its half-ton Ford rival, which was also updated that year. Both Stepside and Fleetside availability carried over from 1966, and revised grilles continued to represent new model-year calling cards up through 1972.  Numerous changes occurred in 1971, with the most apparent and visual being the new large “egg crate” grille. The 1971 and 1972 Chevy pickups which finished out the second generation, tend to be the most popular among many enthusiasts.

This Chevy C10 pickup underwent a full frame-off restoration and is powered by a fuel-injected LS3 engine with CNC ported heads, backed by a new GM Supermatic 4L70E transmission.  It also sports a full tug-welded stainless exhaust, including Quick Time cutouts with a Ron Davis radiator, sure to keep operating temperature in check. A new-generation RideTech suspension keeps the truck riding comfortably yet responsively. A comfortable bench seat with the appropriate black and white houndstooth fabric is neatly accented with leather-trimmed sides. To make the trip safe and comfortable, it includes Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, an Ididit steering column, cruise control and Vintage Air. It rides on Budnik wheels and Michelin tires. Offering the best of all worlds, this custom pickup provides the turn-key readiness of a modern engine, classic stylings of a C10 and cool factor of a custom hot rod – and is ready to hit the streets and cruise.
