Vehicle Description
Large, sporty, and given all the right investments to be a terrific
droptop - this 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible is the kind of
V8-powered classic that offers everything you want for an ideal
price.
The factory-correct Saffron Yellow paint gives this big Olds a
mature first impression, and the proper care feeling is reinforced
by the outstanding luster that comes from a recent professional
respray. Plus, the chrome and stainless are quite nice and really
pop against the yellow paint. And we especially love the bumpers,
because arguably, no one was better at incorporating those chrome
kings into the design better than a '60s Olds. But there's also a
sinister side to this mature classic. The iconic Super Stock II
wheels, fresh black convertible top, and wide grille with quad
headlights give this Cutlass the square-jaw toughness that was
shared with the performance-oriented 442.
If you like the way the black roof looks against the yellow paint,
then you'll love that with the flip of a switch, the power top
reveals an equally impressive black interior. One look inside, and
you'll instantly remember what premium looked like in the 60s. The
split bench up front has a wide fold-down armrest for individual
cruising comfort. And not only do you get the intricate pattern on
both rows of seating, but also they match the insignia door trim,
too. The dashboard is one of those great exercises in driver
dominance. The big chrome panel houses everything including the
heat/defrost controls, power folding top switch, and original style
AM radio (the real tunes come from the AM/FM/cassette under the
dash.) And they all have enough space to give them each their own
zip code. The driver gets a grippy three-spoke steering wheel
that's both wafer-thin and sturdy as steel. Beyond that are big,
round gauges filling the instrument panel.
Under the hood is an era-correct 330 cubic-inch V8. Olds people
will love pointing out all the correct pieces - from the golden
block to the correct Jetfire Rocket air topper. And having a proper
Oldsmobile block under the hood is always something special.
Remember, they manufactured their own engines, and Oldsmobile
purposely made them beefier that even some others across the GM
line. The V8 inhales deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, and
it exhales with a sweet rumble of the dual exhaust. But even with
all the added attitude, this Olds doesn't lose its premium driving
feeling. With features like power steering, power brakes, and
two-speed automatic transmission, there's an easy drive behind the
aggressive appearance.
This is a great-looking droptop classic with all the right features
and investments. So at a price like this, you know you need to
hurry if you want to take it home. Call today!!!
